Help the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy Raise $20,000 for Wildlife Conservation this GivingTuesday
Toronto, ON, Monday, November 27, 2023 – The Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy, dedicated fundraising part of your Toronto Zoo, invites you to make a real difference for endangered species this GivingTuesday, as they aim to raise $20,000 for their Wilding Endangered Species Preservation Fund.
“We’re thrilled to be part of this global movement and are setting an ambitious goal to raise $20,000 on GivingTuesday,” says Beth Gilhespy, Executive Director of the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy. “This year, we’re very excited that Toronto Zoo and Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy Board Members will match donations made on GivingTuesday up to $10,000, doubling the impact of your donation!”
“As a Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy Board member, I am thrilled to support this initiative and organizations like the Red Panda Network, who share our vision of a world where wildlife and wild spaces thrive,” says Dolf DeJong, CEO of your Toronto Zoo.
GivingTuesday, the world’s largest generosity movement, presents an unparalleled opportunity for the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy to further its mission of inspiring giving to fight extinction. On Tuesday, November 28th, the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy will join countless individuals, corporations, and nonprofits worldwide in harnessing the collective power of generosity.

Nature’s beauty surrounds us, and it is up to all of us to protect and preserve it for generations to come. Donations to the Wilding Endangered Species Preservation Fund will be helping to further your Toronto Zoo’s conservation impact worldwide, with 100% of funds raised supporting conservation projects in the wild (“in-situ”).
Currently, through this fund the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy is proud to be partnering with the following organizations with plans to expand support to Amur tigers:
Ape Action Africa (AAA)
Gorilla Saving Animals from Extinction (SAFE)
Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP)
Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB)
The Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy encourages supporters to visit their dedicated GivingTuesday campaign page at www.wildlifeconservancy.ca/givingtuesday to donate.
